Obligation and commitment...

NFCI OATH

(Adopted by the National Foundation of Certified Inspector (NFCI), December 25, 2004,)

I/We Being admitted to NFCI, the profession of Certified Inspectors, do solemnly swear to use my knowledge and skills for the benefit of the consumer, it's members, this foundation and for the protection of the home inspection industry in the the promotion of Certified Inspectors, and the advancement of NFCI within home inspection industry.

I/We also pledge on my word of honor to adhere to the precepts of the rules of this foundation, and to protect the consumer, fellow Inspectors and NFCI from any harm whatsoever now and forever.

I will practice my profession conscientiously, with dignity, and in keeping with the Code of Ethics and Principals of this foundation.

I accept as a lifelong obligation the continual improvement of the home inspection industry, my profession as a home inspector, my knowledge and competence.
